Shaws Department Stores Open in Drogheda

Thursday, October 25th: Shaws Department Stores today opened their latest store in the Laurence Town Centre in Drogheda. After over 140 years of trading, Shaws of Drogheda, which employs 80 people locally, is the 16th to open by the Shaw Group, the only Irish owned and family run department store company of its size in Ireland. Among the celebrations included a fanfare opening of entertainment, giveaways, balloons, prizes and fun for all the family.

Renowned for their extensive offering of high profile brands, the new Shaws outlet in Drogheda hosts a selection of concessions within the store, including Principles, Jacques Vert, Warehouse, Bay, Libra, Precis, Eastex, Ann Harvey, Country Casuals, Dash, Regatta, Fuse and Adams Kids. Shaws of Drogheda boasts an extensive selection of home and lifestyle collections among their departments, from home wares, cosmetics, footwear and lingerie to extensive ladies, mens and childrens fashion.

Shaws of Drogheda trades off 25,000 square feet of bright, modern retail space and occupies a gross area of 37,000 square feet within the Laurence Town Centre. The centre has frontage onto Laurence St, Peter St, William St, and Palace St, and includes parking for 500 cars.
