Shaws Celebrate Adams Kids Arrival to Tralee

Shaws Department Stores, one of Ireland’s few remaining Irish owned and family run department stores, are celebrating the arrival of Adams Kids to Tralee. Adams will celebrate their opening on Friday 14th March with a fantastic day of celebrations. Radio Kerry will be broadcasting from the store from 11am – 1pm and there will be plenty of giveaways throughout the day.

Commenting on the opening, Steve Pike, Manager of the Tralee branch said, “The Tralee store has been a great success for Shaws and we look forward to further success with Adams Kids. We now offer our younger customers a high fashion brand offering trendy everyday wear and fantastic party wear as well as schoolwear. Parents will be delighted with the fantastic styles, range and reasonable prices Adams offer”.

The groups’ first and only store in County Kerry opened its doors in 1997 on Russell Street offering a host of top brands and concessions. They celebrated their 10th year of trading last year. Shaws have recently expanded the store’s retail space to include an additional floor, adding over 20% more retail space. The work also involved the refurbishment of the entire store. Shaws Departments Stores, Tralee now trade from a total of 21,000 square feet of retail space.

Adams Kids joins Warehouse, Principles and Evans to the recent line up of high fashion brands introduced into the store to compliment the existing line up of ever-popular concessions such as Dorothy Perkins, Dash, Ann Harvey, Michael Heather and Burtons. Shaws of Tralee stock a number of specialist departments including men’s and ladies wear, footwear, homewares, Gifts and China.
