Shaws Celebrate a Decade in Tralee
Shaws
Department Stores, one of Ireland’s few remaining Irish owned and
family run retail businesses, are celebrating their 10th year of
trading in Tralee this month. The groups’ first and only store in
County Kerry opened its doors in 1997 on Russell Street offering
a host of top brands and concessions.
As part of their continued investment in the Tralee branch and to
celebrate their 10th year in the town, Shaws have expanded the store’s
retail space to include an additional floor, adding a further 4,000
square feet. The work also involved the refurbishment of the entire
store. Shaws Departments stores, Tralee now trade from a total of
17,000 square feet of retail space.
To commemorate their 10th anniversary in Tralee and launch celebrations
for their redeveloped store, Shaws of Tralee will be giving away
a shopping voucher worth €1000 a day for three days from Friday
September 28th to Sunday September 30th.
Warehouse, Principles and Evans are amongst the exciting new high
fashion brands been introduced into this store to compliment the
existing line up of ever-popular concessions such as Wallis, Dorothy
Perkins, Dash, Ann Harvey, Michael Heather and Burtons. Shaws of
Tralee includes a number of specialist departments including mens
and ladies footwear, homewares, Gifts and China.
Commenting on the refurbishment, Steve Pike, Manager of the Tralee
branch said, “The Tralee store has been a great success for Shaws
and we look forward to continued success in the town for many years
to come. We are delighted with the redevelopment works and our new
brands. We would like to thank all our customers for their patience
during the redevelopment of the store.”
Shaws Department Store, Russell Street, Tralee is open 7 days including
Sundays and Bank Holidays.
